Week 6 in Loveland, CO

Don't have much time today...

I wanted to share 2 brief things. (ok, 2 became 3).

First, we finally had the opportunity to meet an investigator! She has attended church for a month or two, but we never were able to sit down with her. And, she is doing great! We taught her the lesson of the Restoration of the Gospel yesterday and invited her to truly read and pray to know that it is true. She texted us later that day to tell us that she read Alma 32 (as we left it with her to read) and felt like it really applied to her! Awesome! We are going to meet with her tomorrow morning. She is definitely seeking to know the truth. It is AWESOME to meet people like that. Most of the issues with the other investigators we are teaching is a lack of desire to know for themselves right now. I am privileged to be working with her to grow and change. It is funny that we have put in a lot more effort in finding than I had before and the most promising current investigator is our only referral. Haha. Maybe there is a lesson in there!

Also, I think I have mentioned this before, but studying in the morning is AWESOME! I love to study for the 2 hours in the morning. It is definitely inspired to have 1 hour of personal study and then talk about what you learned with your companion after. I pray that I am able to continue using that after being in the mission field to study. I don't know if there is a better way to learn! Having that 1 hour of time to really dig into what you are studying is awesome to get to do.

Also, I have been putting in more effort recently to REALLY going to bed at 10:30 (not 10:40) and REALLY starting to study at 8am (not 8:10). I am surprised and glad to see what a difference those 10 minutes make. I was reminded once again this week after getting home later than expected how it really messes everything up in your schedule!! I have learned that well over 100 times in the last couple years. Hopefully I can stick to it this time and really make it a priority to get in bed on time so that I am truly prepared for the next day!

Hope all of you have an amazing week! I am truly privileged to be out here and have you in my life.

Elder Jeff Campbell :)
