Wow! The time has come and come very fast. I have loved it here so much! Turns out going from 70+ degree temperature in California to... I don't know how cold it is here without a phone. Haha. It is maybe 20? or less? I don't know how cold it is in Provo. Suffice to say it is much colder here than in California and I got sick last Saturday not long after writing the email. It is probably because I walked 0.5 miles in the morning to the Temple and it was really cold! Or maybe it is because the food isn't amazing quality. One or the other. Since then I have been wearing my nice jacket over my suit jacket in the morning. Oh to be from California.

MTC Prep Day #1
Good morning!!
It is a great day at the Provo Missionary Training Center (MTC) today. I have really loved it here. Everyday has been a really packed day so far. We have gone from one thing to the other. For those of you who know me, you would know that I'm not necessarily the most organized and prepared person so it wouldn't surprise you to know that I barely slept at all on Tuesday night before I left to the airport! Soooo I was RIDICULOUSLY exhausted the entire day. I fell asleep instantly upon takeoff. I felt a lot better after but wanted to take a nap immediately when I got to the MTC at 11am. Ironically, that has REALLY helped my adjustment to the time zone and schedule. I have been asleep by 11pm and up just after 6am both of these two days. I actually feel refreshed too!

Let's Do This
Whoot! How the time has come and gone! I was checking out my journal last night after being set apart as a missionary and realized just last year on Jan 20th, I had the opportunity to speak at church for the first time. Just last year on Jan 20th, I decided to move forward with the plan of going on a mission after I graduated from college. Just last year on Jan 21st, I got a phone call from Stake President Cuvelier inviting me to give a talk at Stake Conference. How the times have changed! Now I have less than 12 hours until I'm on a flight to Salt Lake and the adventures truly begin. I'm so blessed to have so many wonderful member and nonmember friends supporting me on this journey. Particularly I'm infinitely grateful for my parents and how much they have helped me get ready to go. I love you mom and dad! :) Just an hour ago I finished watching my last Sunset from my house I grew up in for the next 2 years. It's time to make great things come to pass!! :) I'm excited for this new adventure and it's time to finish packing.
Until next time,
(I need to think of a cool peace out signature)
